In accordance with Kentucky MAC law (Ky.Rev.Stat.Ann. §304.17A-162), the following is a list of products for which CVS Caremark® MAC adjustments have been made with retroactive effective dates as a result of granted MAC appeals.

BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina (BCBSSC) is an existing plan sponsor with CVS Caremark®. As a reminder, all claims for all members should be submitted using the claims processing information above.

Effective January 1, 2018, CVS Caremark® will begin to process pharmacy claims for Illinicare Health - MMAI.

Effective November 1, 2017, OptumRx, the pharmacy benefit manager for UnitedHealthcare Employer and Individual, will administer Point of Sale (POS) messaging to members that fill opioid prescriptions that exceed 180 mg of Morphine Equivalent Dose (MED).
