Effective January 1, 2018, Diabetes Testing Supplies manufactured by Ascensia (see table below) will be the exclusive products for Blue Cross Medicare Advantage Covered Persons in Illinois, New Mexico, Texas, Oklahoma and Montana.

For any specialty and nonspecialty products not specifically addressed, the discount shall be set at the Pharmacy’s retail brand or generic rate as set forth in the applicable Exhibit B(s) or AWP-15.25% for brand products and AWP-40% for generic products.

Effective January 1, 2018, Prime will be utilizing a new concurrent DUR (cDUR) service designed to help identify cases of Apparent Opioid Misuse.
